Sawyer Laine Boutique (which is based out of Wellsville, NY) is a boutique that has the cutest boho inspired clothing! We recently collaborated & they sent me some items to style. It was so fun to style the items they picked out for me.
I am so grateful to partner with boutiques & smaller shops & do my part to support and promote small businesses!
I linked the items that are available, but things do sell out fast & they don’t restock often in order to ensure people get unique pieces. If you love something from this boutique, pick it up fast and use my code MARISSA15 for 15% off!
these acid wash shorts are so fun and totally 80’s! Unfortunately, they are sold out.
this bralette is sooo pretty & it is still available in the gray color. I love bralettes for under sweaters, tanks, and tees.
this floral skirt is perfect for fall and has a fun feature of suspenders. I’m not cool enough to wear those, but they would be super fun for a boho funky look. This skirt is sold out, but if it ends up coming back I will link it!
faux leather leggings are super trendy right now. I know that the Spanx ones are well-loved but they are pricey. These ones are high-waisted and feel so comfy! These are part of the fall release & are not available yet, but when they are I will link them!
Ok, so these pants are supposed to be “crops”, but I am 5’1″, so they’re more like just regular pants on me–haha! I like the length with heels, but I think I would want them to be more cropped when wearing flat shoes & sandals. I’m still on the fence about them for this very reason, but I decided to style the pants a few ways to see if I can make them work for me and my wardrobe. I do love the color of these pants–not a stark white, a cream. It goes well with lots of colors! (all links and similar items will be linked at the bottom of the post!)

This look is simple– a pretty pink ribbed tank paired with the pants, a rattan bag, and heels.
Who doesn’t love black and white together? This silky black top is from amazon and looks perfect knotted up with these pants.
I love a ruffle tank and knew this tan one would look perfectly monochromatic with these pants. Love it!
Of course I can’t do a styling session without adding in some orangey-yellow! This tee is old but I found one the exact same color and linked it from target! I also love these sparkly amazon sandals to add a little interest to the outfit!
This was one of my favorite looks, and also unfortunately the top is sold out from Maurices. I linked a few from amazon that looked similiar!
This all white look is so casual and chic. I think this tank is all sold out now from target, but I linked another silky tank from target and a cute cotton one from old navy!
Alright, so I’ll be the first to admit that I was sooooo not into the biker shorts trend. I thought it looked terrible and why would you want to mess up a cute outfit with those ugly things? Butttt, then a worldwide pandemic happened and I was all about comfy clothes and I bought a pair and WOW! are they ever comfortable! I found some ways to make myself feel cute in them and here are they are! (all links will be at the bottom of this post.)

The first way is super casual– with a sweatshirt! I have been liking the tie-dye trend but I’m not super into all the bright colors of it so this yellow streaked (almost coffee colored) sweatshirt is perfect. So comfy and over-sized.
This second look is perfect for running around doing errands or any mom activity. This linen-blend tee from Old Navy is super cute with a pocket and very comfy. I threw my jean jacket on along with my favorite summer bag and Croc sandals and it’s a casual look.
This look is a little more bohemian– my top I’ve had forever (but I’ll link similar) and it’s perfect because it covers my bum. I’ve got these comfy slide sandals on and it makes it a perfect boho look.
Tell me, are you into the biker shorts trend? Totally understand if you’re not! I think it is certainly an acquired taste, haha!
If you like biker shorts, which of these outfits would you wear?
I got this white dress from Target for a family photoshoot & it’s so pretty in person. I loved it so much that I also bought it in the dusty pink color too! I believe it’s still in stock in the white in almost all sizes so if you like it, scoop it up! (all links will be at the bottom of the post.) In this styling session I wanted the dress to be the main event, so I mostly just switched out accessories to give the dress different looks. Enjoy!

Everything I used for my styling session!
I think this was my favorite look. My lace up sandals are a new favorite summer staple and add to the boho feel of the dress & throw in the large rattan bag with the tassels and voila! A perfectly boho look.
This look may carry better into fall (as long as you’re not scared to wear white after labor day ;)) but I love a dress with booties. I would definitely wear this look to a country concert!
I dressed this look up with my new favorite Target heels (sold out, but I linked a similar pair that are on sale for $19.99) and my favorite amazon crossbody bag. Still boho, but a little more simple.
I threw on this bonus outfit because I just KNEW this dress was dying to be styled with a straw hat and LOOK! I was right. Looks so cute. These woven slide sandals are so comfy and casual– I featured them in my favorite sandals of summer post!
