6 Colors to Wear With Green Pants

A follower recently asked me for some green pants outfit ideas.  I went back through my style photos and sent her a bunch of ideas, but realized that most of the outfits were green pants styled with neutrals like brown, black, cream and white.

As much as I love neutrals, I wanted to challenge myself to come up with some good colors to wear with green, so I created this post with my new green Gap Factory barrel pants! So, here are 6 colors that pair well with green.

You’ll find everything I’m wearing linked under each photo, plus similar options for anything older or unavailable (noted in the LTK description). These are affiliate links, and I’m so grateful for your support.

Color #1: orange

I LOVE orange and I think it pairs SO well with green. They’re my two favorite colors to wear, so I find myself wearing this color combination often.

Color #2: green (specifically chartreuse)

I really think ANY shade of green looks good with other shades of green, but I was surprised how fun and cute this chartreuse and olive color combo was.

Color #3: yellow

This is a more muted yellow, but I think even bright yellow, butter yellow, or mustard yellow pair so nicely with green. I brought my whole look together with this green printed scarf.

Color #4: red

Red and green doesn’t have to mean “Christmas colors”. They pair so beautifully because they’re complementary colors—they sit opposite of each other on the color wheel and are eye catching and fun!

Color #5: pink

It’s giving watermelon 🍉 and I love it! I think pink and green are so fun and whimsical together. Since pink is so closely related to red, I think they pop when paired together.

Color #6: blue

I’m not really a blue girl, so denim is how I incorporate blue into my wardrobe. Both are beautiful cool tones and look so great together.

One Bright Sweatshirt, Five Ways To Wear It

This chartreuse sweatshirt is a super cute find that I’ve been loving. I love the contrasting neck, sleeve, and bottom detail and the large snap buttons are super cute (they’re not sewn on super well, so you may need to reinforce them, FYI!).I also got a message asking what it’s made of since the tag says “blend”! I ALWAYS check labels and this is important to me too. It’s 65% cotton, 30% polyester and 5% spandex!

As always, when I buy something new I like to challenge myself to style it several different ways (because if you’re not styling things multiple ways what are you doing?!) so here we are! Here are 5 ways to wear it.

6 Easy Winter Outfits for Busy Moms

Being a mom is already a full-time job, and then on top of it we’re supposed to get dressed, chase kids around, and somehow stay comfy?!!😅

it can be tough, but here are six outfit combos you can use to do all of that🙌🏽

Outfit 1: a sweater + scarf + jeans

I’m loving that scarves are coming back because I never stopped wearing them😂 I think they’re such a cute way to add some fun to a typical sweater and jeans look!

Outfit 2: comfy pants + crewneck + pop of color

What’s comfier than a pair of sweats? These ones are a heavier weight so I feel like they’re more wearable outside of the house. I love pairing them with a comfy crewneck sweatshirt and sneakers. Add a pop of color (bag, hat, scarf) and you’re cute and ready to go!

Outfit 3: black jeans + cardigan + comfy shoes

When I get sick of wearing blue jeans over and over, black jeans are the way to go. These ones are stretchy and comfy but still hold their shape—a true unicorn! You can pair them with any type of top, but a cardigan makes them cuter and more put together and then add whatever comfy shoes work for your weather.

Outfit 4: comfy pants + cute top + sneakers

I’m not sure if we all have comfy pants in our wardrobe that aren’t jeans or sweatpants, but they’re a must, especially if you work somewhere where you need to dress professional. These are a pair I’ve had for years and I love pairing them with a basic top or a cute top! The sneakers also look so fun with them. I also just got a couple pairs of cute pants from Gap that I’ll link as alternatives to this pair!

Outfit 5: sweatpants + denim top + slipper clogs

I rarely say anyone NEEDS anything—but when I do, I’m talking about a good denim button up. It’s a workhorse for ALL seasons in my wardrobe. It’s great with almost every type of top and bottom. Here I paired it with these comfy grey wide leg sweatpants (that I generally prefer to wear at home) and my comfy slipper clogs.

Outfit 6: corduroy pants + cozy top layer + boots

I love corduroy pants for cold weather. They add great texture and feel so cozy. For my top layer here I added a sherpa vest, but you could do a jacket (denim, barn, quilted), another type of of vest (fleece or puffer), or a a sweater (crenweck, b neck, or cardigan). I paired my blundstone boots with the whole look, but any shoe you love will work!
