17 Comfy and Cute Fall Outfits I’ve Worn Recently

We’ve had some great fall weather lately! It got a bit warmer for a little bit (as you can see below with a few shorts outfits), but now it’s back to the cooler for fall-like temps.

We have really been enjoying all the fall activities—hiking, oktoberfests, fall walks, campfires, and more. Here are some of the outfits I wore while doing these things.

1. A basic long sleeve

A basic long sleeve top is the easiest one to think of, in my opinion. A basic long sleeve looks great tucked into a pair of barrel jeans. Add a necklace, scarf, or vest or accessory to make it even more fun!

2. A sweater

your sweater can be a crewneck, a v-neck, a boat neck or any type. Mine is a crewneck and it’s a little more oversized with a kind of high-low hem. It’s one of my favorites and I think it looks so cozy with barrel jeans.

3. A cardigan (unbuttoned as a layer or buttoned as a top)

A cardigan is one of my favorite layering pieces. Throw it over a tank, a tee, or a long sleeve and you’re super cozy. In the last few years I’ve also started wearing cardigans as tops, which is a great way to get more wear out of your cardigans!

4. A sweatshirt

I’m wearing a crewneck sweatshirt here, but it can be a henley sweatshirt, a 1/2 zip sweatshirt, or whichever type is your favorite. I think this is a cute and casual look paired with the barrel jeans.

5. A blouse

I don’t have a whole lot of blouses in my wardrobe, but I do like to have a few for an easy and cute top to pair with jeans. This green one has a more cropped fit, so it pairs well with the barrel jeans. If I was wearing a less cropped blouse, I would probably do a little front tuck.
