15 Late Summer Outfits I’ve Been Wearing in Real Life: Petite Casual Mom Style

This summer is absolutely flying by–I can hardly believe it’s August already. We’ve had such a beautiful and fun summer and it’s slowly winding down as we prepare for our youngest to get his tonsils and adenoids out next week and his recovery after that. Before we do that though, I want to share some of the recent outfits I’ve worn this summer. This is a good mix of casual mom outfits, church and fancier outfits, really comfy and easy outfits, and everything else in between. I hope this round up helps you find some outfit inspiration for the rest of these warm summer months!

Recent Outfits: Linen, Layers, and All the Earthy Tones

If you’re living in linen, layers and flowy outfits lately… me too! And of course, I’m wearing all the earth tones as usual. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but you don’t have to wear pastels just beacuse it’s spring! I like to wear some bright colors, but I generally just love to stick to my favorite earthy tones the most–greens, browns, oranges, creams, etc.

These are outfits I’ve worn for running errands, momming, sports practice, seeing friends and family, church and more. I’m soooo happy it’s warming up! We are so excited for summer.

The Good Ole Days (But Make It Cute) – 3 Pieces I’m Loving from Hanmade Goods

This Hanmade Goods’ The Good Ole Days collection hits all the right notes. They’re giving vintage charm, small-batch cuteness, and they come in such fun colors!

The graphic tees have that perfect worn-in feel with prints that make me smile every time I throw them on. One’s a little cheeky, the other’s sweet—BOTH are easy to style with denim, a good crossbody bag, and gold jewelry (you know the formula).

And then there’s the “mama” crewneck. Subtle embroidery, ultra-soft, and just the right amount of slouch. I also love the bright purple/indigo color— It’s such a comfy and easy go-to crewneck. It makes me feel like me, but cozier.

If you’re looking for comfort, nostalgia, and small business love, this collection is such a gem. These pieces feel like a little nod to the past, but they fit right into my everyday life.
