How to Style Sock Booties (Sustainable brand Vivaia Shoes Review)

Vivaia is a brand that reached out to me about trying their sustainably made shoes. After researching them & finding out more about their company, I decided to give them a try! All views are my own and the shoes were gifted to me by Vivaia.

If you prefer video content, check out my fun reel HERE!

The number one great thing I was excited to learn about Vivaia is that their shoes are made with recycled plastic water bottles & ethically sourced wool (even the packaging that they send the shoes in is 100% recycled materials!). I was SO impressed with that fact, & even more so when I received the shoes & they were incredibly comfortable! A good portion of their shoes are even made to be machine washable which is also so convenient (unfortunately this pair is not because of the heel).

I chose the Zoe wool round-toe boots in my regular size (you just use their size chart to convert your US size to your EU size) and the color tan russet. It’s a beautiful brownish grey & it’s the perfect color that goes with just about anything (this pair is on sale right now for $83 and my code ma18 can get you an extra 18% off!).

Viviaia has a ton of shoe options on their site– boots, mules, loafers, flats, heels, sneakers, etc, and they also carry men’s shoes. Vivaia is considered a competitor of Rothys’ shoes, which I can’t speak to or review because I don’t own a pair, but they both are made for comfort & out of recycled materials. If you are interested in trying a pair of sustainably made shoes, Vivaia’s shoes start around $99, which is more affordable than Rothys are. They also seem to have more style options than Rothys.

All in all, I would definitely recommend Vivaia shoes to anyone looking for style, comfort, & sustainability. I’m looking forward to contining to wear and style my Zoe sock boots and to continue to support this brand!

I have styled these extremely versatile boots 3 different ways below. Most of my outfits are older pieces, but I will link similar options to what I’m wearing if you want to try to recreate look. I use affiliate links which means I earn a small commission if you purchase anything using my link, and it will be no additional cost to you. Thanks for your support! šŸ™‚

Look number 1: A mockneck, cardigan & straight leg jeans.
This look is casual & comfy. I LOVE that these sock boots tuck perfectly into straight leg jeans. Makes them look so chic.

Look number 2: A mini boho dress.
The color of these boots pairs perfectly with black & I love that the taller shaft adds interest to an otherwise simple dress look.

Look number 3: A flowy top & skinny jeans.
The shaft of these boots is tight enough that they pair so well with skinny jeans too! Love that! Dress it up with a flowy blouse & you’ve got yourself a cute night out look.

A Neutral Shirt Worn 3 Ways

This taupe button front shirt has been one of my most worn tops this fall. It’s so easy to style, so comfy & I ordered a neutral color so it works perfectly with so much in my wardrobe. I did a reel styling it (you can see it here) earlier this fall. I plan to wear it SO MUCH as we head into winter as well. Maybe I’ll need to do another styling session styling it as it gets cooler out.

Here are the three ways I styled it:

This is obviously super casual (& since this, I have gotten some skin colored no-show socks, HA!) & comfy. I would even add a baseball cap and maybe a long coat to make this even cuter!

The hat & sock booties are fun additions to dress this top up. I paired them with my favorite levi wedgie skinny jeans (sold out in this wash, but so many other washes available!).

A midi floral skirt & mules are always so fun. I love this printed one with this top!

Which of these three ways do you think you’d wear? My favorite is with the jeans, sock booties, and hat!

3 Ways to Wear One Shirt Jacket

Shirt jackets, or “shackets” as the kids are calling them these days are so trendy this year! It’s certainly a trend that will carry over from fall into winter & I’m here for it because it is casual, cute & comfy! I have picked up a few shirt jackets & wear them often, Usually as a second layer. This one has a perfect mix of whites, grays, & oranges. It fits with a lot in my wardrobe & is very versatile!
Here are three ways I’ve worn this one:

You can’t go wrong with an all black base & some interesting layers & shoes on top! I love to mix my browns & blacks.

This Amazon sweatshirt is quilted & great quality– I love it so much! It pairs perfectly with the oranges in the shirt jacket. Throw on some skinnes and some chelsea boots and perfect!

Either tied around the waist or worn casually the shirt jacket looks so cute as a layer with a brown sweater, straight leg jeans and sock booties!

Which of these three looks would you wear?!

Colors I’m Wearing in November

I did a fun reel over on my Instagram with colors I’m wearing this month (check it out HERE) & thought it would be fun to also do a blog post with the still frames! I LOVE the rich colors of fall & actually wear most of them year round very often. I’ve never had my “colors” done, but if I did I’m fairly certain I would be an Autumn. I gravitate towards Autumn colors (when I’m not wearing neutrals!) & I feel like they look best on me.

Starting with the first color: DEEP RED
I actually really love this color for November & December. Perfect for a bit of Christmas without going full-on holly jolly red!

Next up: MUSTARD YELLOW
I feel like mustard yellow is on every basic girl’s list of favorite colors to wear–it’s just TOO good, especially in these fall months.

Thirdly: BURNT ORANGE
my personal favorite forever & always amen! It’s just so deep & beautiful– what’s not to love?!

And last: SHADES OF BROWN
This includes taupes, tans, browns, etc. All such great neutral colors & some of my favorites, of course!

EVERYTHING LINKED HERE!*

(*minus the first burgundy/deep red cardigan which is older so I linked a super similar one!)

What is your favorite color to wear as we head into cooler months?
