I love to pair a black tank or tee with black linen shorts— it gives sort of a faux romper look and is so easy!

A green top layer is my favorite way to add color to an outfit.

This dress is older, but it’s thought the boots and silk scarf made it so fun!

We went out on the side-by-side with my parents and I wore this easy look!

This is an outfit I threw on for a comfy and rainy Saturday. I have had these Quince pants for almost 2 years now and love them! So comfy and the shape is so fun.

This textured tank is great! I own it in the taupe as well and it adds some interest to my outfits 🙂

This is a simple look made a little more interesting by the ribbing on my white tee and the fun pockets and button detail on my jeans.

This outfit was for a rainy and cold day. This 100% organic cotton cardigan is a great heavy weight and lays so nicely!

Y’all know I love this type of outfit lately— dress/skirt, tall boots, and a silk skirt. So easy and fun!

Loved pairing my custom made vest from Etsy with these fun Levi jeans and a boho top!

I purchased this little crop tee with ruched sides from old navy (I sized up to medium) because I thought it would be so cute with high waisted bottoms like jeans, linen pants, and skirts!

This knobby knit sweater is so cozy, bulky, and cute. I own it in two colors!

My friend Christina (her insta handle is @scarfandamug) wore a Canadian tuxedo and gave me the inspiration for this outfit. I loved it!

This outfit is pretty causal but the wrap top makes it slightly more elevated, along with the printed socks.

Just a cozy hoodie with flare leggings— a cold winter day outfit perfection!

I LOVED pairing a green graphic tee with my green linen pants— will definitely be wearing a summer version of this outfit with linen shorts!

4 Casual Ways to Wear a White 100% Cotton Button Up Top (2 for spring, 2 for summer)

A white button up top is a classic item to have in your wardrobe & I realized I was missing one in mine! I found this $20 white linen-like button down from Target & it’s so soft and a lightweight gauzy material.

It is the perfect lightweight layer or top for spring & summer. Last year I ordered it in the yellow/brown color & I wore it often, so I knew I had to get the white option this year! I ordered the xs and it fits perfectly for an oversized fit.

I put together 4 simple ways to wear this white cotton button up. The first two looks work well for spring & the second two are better suited for summer.

If you prefer video content, check out the reel HERE!

As always, I will link everything (or similar options if item is older/sold out) via Liketoknow.it at the bottom of the post. This first look is more for early spring– I find myself wanting to dress in lighter colors and layers but it’s still slightly chilly. This top (possibly with a white tank layered under for extra warmth!), my levi jeans, and my cream Vivaia flats are a perfect casual look!

This second look is monochromatic. I am LOVING monochromatic looks lately. They elevate an entire look, & add my cream Vivaia heels & you’ve got a comfy but great outfit!

This third look is geared towards summer. I love linen shorts for summer. They’re so comfy and feel like wearing pjs! This pair is so versatile due to it’s color & they’re only $15 at Target! I added some sparkly sandals, but any sandals would work great as well (I just ordered this pair & I’ll definitely be wearing them with this outfit)! I left my cotton button down open with a white tank underneath for a more casual feel.

What is a more classic summer look than cutoff shorts & a white top?! I love these Levi 501 shorts (I have them in 2 washes now!) I’d also definitely add a white tank & wear the cotton button down open like I did in the previous look.

Do you own a white button down? How would you style it?

Which look would you wear?

Fall in a Sweater

I found this super cute sweater on amazon and it’s giving me all the fall feels! The brown color is more of a deep orange (which I LOVE!) and the stripes are so classic! It comes in a few more classic stripe colors and is the perfect addition to a fall wardrobe.

I paired it with my Levi wedgie skinny jeans which I think are sold out in this wash on amazon, but I linked a similar pair on the Levi’s website. I also love wearing my mules for early fall! They dress up an outfit but aren’t as hot as booties.

Everything is linked at the bottom of the post using my affiliate links. This means if you make a purchase using my links I make a little bit of money, at no additional cost to you. Thanks for your support, as always! 🙂
