This combo (along with a silk scarf) is my favorite outfit lately. It’s so easy and it always makes me feel like a million bucks! It can be a mini, midi, or maxi dress, any print or type of scarf, and knee high boots or cowboy boots! Then I add in fun accessories like jewelry, a bag, sunglasses, a sweater, etc, and the outfit is suddenly my new favorite outfit. I just love fashion✨
This dress is from target last year, so it’s unavailable now. I found some similar options and linked them along with similar options for my silk scarf, which is thrifted.
These boots are currently on sale and buy one get one free (BOGO) because the brand is discontinuing their shoe line. They’re so comfy and high quality! Couldn’t love them more!
Here are a few outfits I’ve worn in the first few weeks of May. Almost any day that I can get away with wearing sandals, I go for it! I love sandal weather.

This little organic cotton top from Quince is such a cutie! Love the texture and the functional buttons!
We had a women’s conference at our church and this is what I wore the final day of it. Anything without a waistband is always a good idea for a day that requires lots of sitting!
This American Eagle denim mini skirt is soooo old— I must have thrifted it 8-9 years ago & I haven’t worn it in ages. I’ve almost gotten rid of it a bunch of times but haven’t… And then yesterday I decided to pull it out to go with these new boots (which, btw, are fabulous and are being discontinued so they’re on sale & BOGO right now, so run and get them before they’re gone!) and it turned out to be my new favorite outfit!
This is why I have the hardest time getting rid of clothes.. always in the back of my mind is that voice whispering, “you may want to wear this someday and you won’t have it…” and so then I just keep it for that reason and then my closet is overflowing and it’s just too much! Ha! Oh well.

A tee/tank, a top layer (open button up/cardigan/shacket), pants (jeans/joggers/linen) and sandals is my go-to spring uniform!
It’s simple, yet comfy and the third piece generally brings it all together! Then I add accessories like a bag, jewelry, scarf etc and I’m good to go.
Not all of these outfits are that specific uniform, but a lot of them are! I’ll link everything below each picture & I do use affiliate links— this just means that if you order using my links I earn a small commission (at no additional cost to you) that helps keep this blog running! Thank you 🙂
This green linen blend top was a favorite from last year! Love it layered over this ribbed tee from Target.
I wear my cashmere cardigan sweater from Quince at LEAST once a week while it’s still cool out (this is the charcoal color and I have the oatmeal coming too!). It’s so cozy and warm.
