The first couple weeks of January have been cold and snowy. We’ve got another snowstorm forecasted for this weekend and we’re mostly planning on hunkering down and staying home. Here are some of the outfits I’ve worn. I like to describe my style as cozy/casual/comfy and I think these outfits reflect that. My goal has been to add a little more fun to my outfits this year and I plan to do that with color, texture, and shape. I generally add texture and shape to most outfits, so I’m mainly focusing on adding some fun colors here and there. You’ll see that below!

I found this new brand on amazon called ColorfulKoala and they have awesome biker shorts, leggings and joggers! I reached out to them for a collaboration and this post features a few of the items they sent me. There items are soft, super comfortable & cute!

This first look features the green biker shorts. They’re a great moss green color & I love them paired with this long tee. This tee is one of my favorites to wear with leggings and bikers because the hem makes it so flattering and it also covers your bum!
I realized last year that a taupe pair of leggings is so versatile! Unfortunately, this color is sold out, so I linked similar. They look so cute with this amazon shacket & my favorite amazon belt bag!
These taupe bikers have a bit of a heathered look to them and were the first ColorfulKoala item I tried. I was sold! I love them with a taupe lightweight button up– so cute!
This look ended up being a bonus look- I didn’t plan it in my styling session and threw it on afterwards. It kinda gives the vibes of those trendy tight body suits with a sweater over it and I’m here for that! In fact, it’s just a tank and bikers and so much easier to use the bathroom in. haha!
So I will be the first to admit that I am not a huge sneaker girl– but I want to be! They’re so comfy and they do look cute. SOOO I bought this white pair off of amazon & I am determined to wear them this spring/summer! It doesn’t hurt that this particular pair is also super comfy. In my determination to wear them, I decided to style them multiple ways. These are 4 looks I came up with! I’m loving them all & I can’t wait for it to be warm enough outside for me to wear bare ankles yet again.

My first look is a crew neck, straight leg jeans, and sneaks. I love this look because it’s very “90’s mom.” My crewneck is from Etsy and has my family’s’ birth month flowers on it, but any cute crewneck sweatshirt will do! I also have a henley sweatshirt from madewell that would look super cute with these!
The second look is a classic spring look– a floral dress, a jean jacket, and sneakers. How cute! I love florals for spring (of course!) and the sneakers dress the whole look down a bit (my dress is sold out but I will link similar options!).
The third look is a white tee, straight leg jeans, cardigan, and sneakers. Very casual, but perfect for running errands or for a play date.
My final look is a graphic tee, floral midi skirt, and the sneakers. Add a rattan circle bag & you look perfect for church or brunch! You could also add your denim jacket here too as an extra layer. Cute & comfy. Win!

A striped top is a must in any wardrobe. It is a great layering piece that adds interest no matter the season– a striped tank in the summer, a tee in the spring, and a long sleeve in the fall & winter. I think the most versatile colors are black (or dark navy!) and white but you could choose whatever colors go best with your wardrobe. I picked up this one at Walmart & it is all sold out at this point, but I will link similar options as a striped long sleeve top is fairly easy to find.
I will be layering this striped top three different ways but keeping the base the same–striped top, straight leg jeans, & sock booties.

This first look is certainly “on-trend”–layering using a shirt jacket, or shacket, as the kids are calling them these days. I really love the shacket trend because I live in Northern NY where it is COLD, so an extra warm layer that is also cute works great! This one is from Amazon and has been one of my favorite shackets to style all winter long!
This second look has a crew neck sweatshirt layered over the striped top. It’s comfy, it’s cute, it’s casual. What more could you want? This cute one from amazon has a tulip hem (easier to see when I link it below) & is a great color.
The third look is a classic–a cardigan and stripes is a tale as old as time. I love a good cardigan outfit & even better if it’s neutral tones. Mine is old, but I linked a bunch of tan/taupe options below.
