10 Cute Ways to Wear a Scarf

Scarves are one of my favorite accessories and I generally wear them around my neck, but I wanted to share a few more ways to use them as an accessory. I feel like a scarf can totally elevate a look and give some fun pattern, color or print!

Here are 10 cute ways to wear a scarf that’ll instantly level up your everyday looks!

1. Classic Neck Wrap – Fold your scarf into a triangle and loosely tie it around your neck for a casual, effortless vibe.

2. Bandana Style – Tie it closer to your neck with the point of the triangle facing forward for a chic, western-inspired look ( I sometimes like to tie the knot in the front for this look).

3. Parisian Style – Roll the scarf up, tie it close to your neck and move the knot to the side. This gives Parisian vibes and looks very chic!

4. Draped Necklace – Roll the scarf up, loop it once around your neck, tie a knot and then let the ends hang loose, mimicking the look of a long necklace.

5. Belt Accent – Thread the scarf through your belt loops and tie it at the side or front for a fun pop of pattern. This is especially cute on a hot day when you may not want to wear a neck scarf, but you want to add some fun to your look!

6. Bag Accessory – Tie it around the strap or handle of your handbag to add color and texture to your outfit. This is a fun one for an otherwise neutral outfit!

7. Hair Tie – Tie the scarf around a ponytail, bun, or into a braid for an instantly feminine, romantic touch.

8. Headband – Wrap the scarf around your head and tie it at the nape of your neck or on top for a boho-inspired look.

9. Pirate-Style – wrap the headband around your head (like a kerchief) and then tie it in a knot! This is a cute way to protect your hair from the sun or get one more day out of dirty hair.

10. Waist Wrap – Wear it as a sarong-style wrap around your hips for a playful, vacation-ready outfit twist. This is one I would probably only wear with a bathing suit, but I have seen people wearing it with jeans!

Let me know if you wear your scarves any of these ways or if there’s any that I missed! I’m always looking for new ways to wear my favorite accessory 🥰
