3 Fall Items (Styling Each One Two Ways!)

I have been slacking on writing blog posts lately– it’s the final quarter of the year & life seems busier than ever! We’ve had a bunch of fall fun AND a bunch of sickness that comes with this time of year, so I haven’t been able to hop on here and post. Here are a few outfits from Pinkblush that I have been wanting to share for a little bit now!

I am sharing two photos of each item below– how I styled each item to share in a reel, and how I wore the items out and about.

If you prefer video content, you can watch my reel HERE.

You can use MARISSAELISE25 for $$ off from Pinkblush! I will link everything I can below each photo. I do use affiliate links– this means I earn a small commission if you purchase something using my links (at no additional charge to you). Thanks for your support–it means the world! 🙂

This dress is so pretty- I love the neutral print, the mini length, & the deep v neck!
My boots and my mules are old, so I linked some similar pairs! my bag is The Festival Bag from Portland Leather goods in the honey color.

I’m obsessed with the color of this shacket. It’s called charcoal on the website and that’s a perfect description. It’s a pretty dark grey that goes with everything!
I linked a few similar options of items (my tan boots & my henley button top), everything else is linked as well!

This tan fleece button up is so cozy and perfectly oversized! Love it with my tan chelsea boots!
Everything is linked below– I got my blundstone boots from Zappos but also linked them on amazon for more sizes.

Three Ways to Style A Shacket (AKA Shirt Jacket)

Shackets are all the rage & so trendy– for good reason! They are a great way to layer & add warmth & cuteness to a look. I love the look & they’re easy to throw on. There are a ton of different materials– corduroy, plaid, boucle, sherpa, you name it there is a shirt jacket for it.
The majority of shackets have either a very oversized look or are just slightly oversized.
Today I am styling a less oversized shacket from Style Trolley, an online boutique with so many cute items. If you want to pick up my shacket, you can here (use StyleTrolley20 for 20% off)!
This shacket is a boucle material and heavier weight. I love the neutral colors, the snap buttons, and the oversized pockets!

If you prefer video content, you can check out the reel of me styling it HERE!

As always, I will link everything else I am wearing at the bottom of the post. I use affiliate links which means I make a small commission if you choose to purchase something using my links, at no additional cost to you. Thanks! 🙂

Look number 1: a long sleeve top, straight leg jeans, and chelsea boots. This look is super trendy with the straight legs and the lug sole chelsea boots. It’s also very comfy and it would look cute to tie the shacket around your waist.

Look number 2: a hoodie, leggings, & sneakers. This is a sportier look. I love the look of a hoodie with a shacket & this makes the shacket extra cute & cozy! I recently picked up some taupe leggings which would also look super cute with this shacket!

Look number 3: skinny jeans, sock boots, and shacket buttoned up (tucked or untucked). This look is more dressed up because of the shoes, but I feel like you can either keep it more casual with the shacket untucked, or make it look more dressed up by front tucking. Either way, so so cute!

Do you own a shacket yet? Which look would you try?

Fall Amazon Fashion Finds: Part 2

I’m back with a few other fall fashion finds from amazon. Two corduroy shirt jackets & a cardigan is what’s up today!

Shirt jackets are a super trendy way to layer and look cute. These corduroy ones are very on trend and cute– I do want to add a warning though– they’re not super high quality. I think they are super cute & will definitely keep & wear them, but you should know that they are corduroy on the outside and a silky material on the inside. It is not uncomfortable by any means, but I’d definitely want to know that information if I was ordering a shirt that I thought was going to be super cozy & it turns out it may not be.
The cardigan though is so very cute & cozy & I LOVE it!!

Without further ado, here we go. Everything (including my shorts & tank) will be linked at the bottom of the post using my affiliate links. I make a small commission if you purchase something at no additional cost to you. Thanks for your support!

I love the color and cut of this shirt jacket! The buttons are metal (not my fav, but not a deal breaker) & again, the inside is silky, not corduroy like the outside (comes in lots of colors).

I really love the tortoise shell buttons on this one, but the cut isn’t my favorite. It just feels a little too oversized for my frame. The color is good though–more of a creamy white instead of a stark white (comes in lots colors).

My favorite for last– this chevron print soft and cozy cardigan. I got the brown/taupe color and it is the softest cardigan ever. I washed it and shrank it for it to fit me perfectly. Also comes in lots of colors!
