Casual and Put Together Summer Outfits I Actually Wore: Outfit Ideas for Petites

Something I’ve realized about myself since taking photos of my outfits and homing in on my personal style is that I am a HUGE fan of a neutral base and a pop of color. It usually makes for a great outfit that makes me feel confident and makes me feel like me and this is exactly how I’m trying to feel when getting dressed. Not every outfit follows this color combo, but I do enjoy when it does. Here is my round up of my latest outfits.

This black gauze button up is one I reach for CONSTANTLY. I bought it last year and it works so well as a little lightweight layer.

I recently bought this little skort (always love a skirt with built-in shorts!) and it’s sooooo cute. Love the neutral print, the comfort and that it comes in size xs!

I am officially a believer that a neutral (black or white or both!) gauze cotton maxi skirt is a wardrobe workhorse. It’s so comfy, breathable, and so fun to style.

I have been loving this little 100% cotton faux wrap skirt. It’s so comfy and adorable and is going to be so fun to continue to wear into fall.

We have had some cooler days, so I pulled out my barrel jeans. They felt just as good as last year and I can’t wait to wear them more as we head into fall.

We went to see Tim Mcgraw for our 11 year anniversary and this is what I wore. It was easy, comfy and I felt great in it!

I bought these little brown satin/lace shorts awhile back and was so excited to get a chance to wear them casually. They’re super comfy with a stretchy waistband and so cute.

I wore this dress in the spring for one of my family Easter events, and it’s also a great one in the summer too! So pretty and feminine.

These red pants have been SO fun to wear. I love the gauze cotton and how fun they are. They are sold out, but I found some similar ones.

15 Late Summer Outfits I’ve Been Wearing in Real Life: Petite Casual Mom Style

This summer is absolutely flying by–I can hardly believe it’s August already. We’ve had such a beautiful and fun summer and it’s slowly winding down as we prepare for our youngest to get his tonsils and adenoids out next week and his recovery after that. Before we do that though, I want to share some of the recent outfits I’ve worn this summer. This is a good mix of casual mom outfits, church and fancier outfits, really comfy and easy outfits, and everything else in between. It’s time for another warm weather outfit round up! I love sharing my realistic, comfy and easy summer style. It’s so fun for me to dream up outfits, wear them, and share them. 12 Summer Outfits: Petite Friendly, Comfy, and Cute

Summer has been soooo good to us! we’ve been enjoying lots of warm summer days swimming, exploring, gardening, and such. My oldest has gone to our school’s summer rec program a couple days a week and my youngest is always home with me and my little sidekick. I have been finding a good rhythm of getting what I need to get done finished and also making time to enjoy our time together and it’s been great. We have about 6 weeks of summer left and we’re trying to make the most of every moment. Here are some of the outfits I’ve been wearing to BBQ’s, the library, days exploring nature, days at home, date nights, and more.
