I’ve been LOVING these pants—they’re so comfy, casual, and easy to style. Here are seven ways I’ve styled them recently for warm weather. I will definitely be styling and wearing them soon for cooler weather, so stay tuned!

1. A monochromatic look is always a favorite of mine!
I’m a denim girl through and through🙌🏽 I wear jeans most days and I love a good and comfy pair. As a petite 30-something mom, here are 5 different styles that I own and have been wearing a bunch!

5 STYLES OF JEANS I OWN & LOVE:
Quince Bella Stretch Relaxed Straight Jeans-size 24, 28″ inseam (I previously thought these were 26” but they’re actually 28”!)
these are more of a flare leg vs straight leg, in my opinion, but I love how stretchy and comfy they feel on! They also come in lengths so they work for just about everyone (also, I have a whole quince denim try-on coming soon! So stay tuned).
I love wearing these with a sweatshirt, crewneck shirt or cardigan.
2. Free People We The Free Risk Taker Mid-Rise Jeans-size 24 short (short is currently sold out, I think you could cut them since they’re a raw hem anyway)
I bought these last winter and I have to stop myself from wearing them daily. The utility style makes them really fun and the lower rise makes them super comfortable.
These jeans really go with EVERY type of top—they’re so versatile.
3. Old Navy High-Waisted OG Straight Ankle Jeans-size 0 petite
these are a newer pair and I have been loving them! I don’t normally go for a dark wash, but I like these way more than I thought I would. They have a looser and comfy fit and they also come in lengths and other washes too.
These jeans look great with everything but especially cute with tees, flannels, or lighter colored tops.
4. Levi’s Ribcage Wide-Leg Jeans-I cuffed them myself-size 0
I bought these 2 years ago and cuffed them myself because they were WAY too long on me. It was before cuffed jeans were everywhere, but I loved the look (and I’ve gotten lots of mean comments about the look too🤷🏽♀️😅). I love wearing this pair with a heeled boots, clog or heels and I think they’re a great “fancier” jean.
I love pairing these wide leg jeans with a button up, oversized sweater, or a tight-fitting long sleeve and neck scarf.
5. Old Navy High-Waisted Barrel Ankle Jeans-0 petite
last but not least—barrel jeans! I was 100% not going to do barrel jeans, but I tried these and I was hooked and now they’re on heavy rotation. I wear them weekly (if not more) because I think the shape is so fun, the loose fit is so comfy, and they’re a fun pair of denim.
I think barrels look great with a tighter fitting top, but I also love the relaxed look of pairing a looser top with these jeans.
I didn’t buy a barn jacket last year because most of the ones I saw were tan (or green) and I wanted something that would work well with a good variety of my shoes (mostly brown or black). When Old Navy came out with this one this year, I was instantly in love with the colors. Black and brown is a favorite color combo for me—so this purchase was a no-brainer.
I put together 5 (and a half😜) ways I’ve been wearing it this fall! I know a bunch of us grabbed it, so I thought it’d be fun to share some outfit ideas. It was restocked in every size yesterday, and it’s already sold out twice—so if it’s on your list, I’d snag it while you can🙌🏽

With a black cardigan + straight leg jeans + chelsea boots
I love how the black cardigan ties in with the corduroy collar on the jacket. The dark wash denim works perfectly here, and I pulled everything together with taupe clogs.
With a tan sweater + barrel jeans + matching clogs
You already know how much I love my barrel jeans—and they pair so well with the barn jacket! I added a soft neutral cotton sweater for a cozy feel and finished it off with chocolate brown clogs.
With a brown cardigan + black wide leg jeans + mary-jane flats
I’ve had both this cardigan and these pants since last year, and they’re still favorites. I made the look more feminine with black mary jane flats—it’s such a good mix of cozy and put together.
(You can go with chelsea boots or tall black boots!)
My denim mini skirt is truly a year-round staple. I kept it simple with a black long sleeve and the barn jacket, then showed it with both black chelseas and tall boots. I also think black mary janes (see below!) or tall brown boots would be super cute here too!
With a black long sleeve + black wide leg jeans + chelsea boots
For this look, I went with an all-black base—black long sleeve and black wide leg denim—then added the barn jacket and my rustic brown Blundstones. The combo works well, and I know I’ll be wearing these together on repeat.
I have been wanting these barrel jeans from Old Navy for a while and I finally grabbed them when they were recently on sale. This is the medium wash and I am wearing size 0 petite—I am 5’1” for reference.
Upon first try on, I was like no way am I keeping these! BUT then I paired them with a few different tops & realized they’re super comfy and versatile, so I’m definitely keeping them and can’t wait to wear them even more.
Here are 4 ways I’m wearing them in this transitional season while it’s still warm, but I want to dress “fall-like”.

Outfit 1: with a cute tank
this little white top is adorable and I thought the femininity of the top was a fun contrast with the masculinity of the barrel jeans.
I feel like the barrel jeans are the star of the outfit, so pairing them with a simple tee really makes them stand out. I added a matching suede tote bag and matching sandals to bring it all together.
similar to the first outfit, I’m a big fan of the juxtaposition of the feminine and masculine between the top and jeans. I added a cute little brown bag and brown birk sandals to finish up the look.
This was the first outfit I tried with the jeans—the cropped sweater tank and the wider jeans go well together. I think anytime you have a bigger jean, a more cropped top always looks good. I added my orange crossbody for a fun pop of color and my comfy Birkenstock sandals.
