Seven Ways I’m Wearing a Denim Midi Skirt for Summer

When denim midi and maxi skirts started coming back into style I said I would NEVER wear them—I was homeschooled and grew up in a very conservative environment and long skirts just gave me those vibes (nothing wrong with them, they just weren’t for me!).

BUT, I’ve slowly come around and I’ve been seeing so many cute ways to style them and I really found myself wanting to give one a try. So I picked this one up from Lulus and I feel like the high slit gives it a more modern vibe and not so “homeschooled”.

So, here are 7 ways I’m wearing a denim midi skirt for warm weather. I can’t wait to find even more ways to style this skirt!

A Denim Tank Top Styled Four Cute Ways for Warm Weather

If you can’t tell from my last few posts, I LOVE denim. I have been showing you how I would style a denim dress from Gap, but when I made that order, I also ordered this denim tank top. It’s such a cute little boxy fit (I ordered small petite) and it’s a great basic and a staple piece that goes with a lot of different bottoms. Here are four ways I’m wearing it as we head into summer!

Denim is everywhere this season! I always love a good pair of jeans, but adding denim in other cute ways like a button up, a tank top, and a dress has been so fun.

This little denim dress has the cutest little shift dress shape and is sooo easy to style. I can’t wait to wear it even more ways and I know it’ll be so cute for fall too!

These soft green pants feel extra springy! I paired the wide leg linen pants with a fun textured tank, leather sandals, a crochet tote bag with a fun floral pattern, and a colorful beaded necklace. Totally springy and fun!

If you haven’t figured it out by now, a graphic tee is a PERFECT item to pair with a denim shirt and linen pants. This graphic tee goes so well with these black linen pants. I paired it with my Birkenstock clogs and cozy socks for a cooler spring day.

This formula is proof that you don’t need a complicated wardrobe to feel cute every day.
