1. A monochromatic look is always a favorite of mine!
This is my final outfit round up that is super summery and now I’m moving into fall-like outfits! Where I live in Northern NY, we get the most beautiful fall leaves and temperatures and it’s already started here for us. The leaves have begun changing, we had our first frost last night, and the temps are feeling so brisk and nice! I just love this season.

I have been wanting these barrel jeans from Old Navy for a while and I finally grabbed them when they were recently on sale. This is the medium wash and I am wearing size 0 petite—I am 5’1” for reference.
Upon first try on, I was like no way am I keeping these! BUT then I paired them with a few different tops & realized they’re super comfy and versatile, so I’m definitely keeping them and can’t wait to wear them even more.
Here are 4 ways I’m wearing them in this transitional season while it’s still warm, but I want to dress “fall-like”.

Outfit 1: with a cute tank
this little white top is adorable and I thought the femininity of the top was a fun contrast with the masculinity of the barrel jeans.
I feel like the barrel jeans are the star of the outfit, so pairing them with a simple tee really makes them stand out. I added a matching suede tote bag and matching sandals to bring it all together.
similar to the first outfit, I’m a big fan of the juxtaposition of the feminine and masculine between the top and jeans. I added a cute little brown bag and brown birk sandals to finish up the look.
This was the first outfit I tried with the jeans—the cropped sweater tank and the wider jeans go well together. I think anytime you have a bigger jean, a more cropped top always looks good. I added my orange crossbody for a fun pop of color and my comfy Birkenstock sandals.
Here are some outfits I’ve worn out and about in real-life in the last month. We’ve got everything from maxi dresses, to linen pants, denim shorts, maxi skirts, graphic tees, tanks and breezy cotton button ups. It’s been a pretty warm month, so my outfits reflect that.
