7 Ways to Wear 1 Cardigan

Red is such a good color, especially for the holiday season, but I definitely think it can go beyond the holidays. So, here are a few different ways to style a red cardigan for just the winter season in general.

This is a cashmere cardigan from Quince (use INFG-25MARISSA10  for 10% off your first order from Quince—new customers only!) and it definitely has a higher price point. I linked some similar red cardigans if you want to get the look but don’t want to spend lots of $$$.

1. Red cardigan + jeans + matching shoes

For the first outfit, I wore the red cardigan with my new favorite jeans (the relaxed straight from Quince) and matching red Mary Jane flats.

2. Red cardigan + denim skirt

A denim mini skirt is always a favorite for me and one would think it would be too chilly for winter, but fleece lined tights remedy that problem! Add some tall boots and you’re cute and warm.

3. Red cardigan + black jeans

Red and black is a classic pairing! Love the way these wide leg patch pocket jeans look with the cardigan.

4. Red cardigan + jeans + comfy slipper shoes

A perfect outfit for a day at home or casual outing. I chose to unbutton the cardigan and layer it over a ribbed tee and styled it with these jeans I’ve been loving and wearing constantly for over a year now.

5. Red cardigan + denim dress + neck scarf

I bought this denim dress in the summer and haven’t styled it yet for winter. It’s so cute with a red cardigan and matching neck scarf. Just like above, add fleece lined tights and tall boots to finish it off and stay warm!

I have been LOVING this floral midi skirt. I haven’t found anything that doesn’t look cute with it! it’s such a versatile piece!

1. This cute green old navy turtleneck. This has been one of my most worn sweaters this fall! I even wore it for Thanksgiving. It’s one of my favorite colors, super cozy, and I love the cable knit. If this isn’t your color, it comes in 7 other colors too🥰

2. My comfy Ugg Tasman Slippers. I have been wearing these all the time—they’re cute with everything! jeans, leggings, and sweatpants🤎

3. I’ve been reaching for these American Eagle jeans a ton. They come in lengths and I have been pleasantly surprised by how much I love them. They have a soft lived-in feel and feel great on👖

4. This happy smiley face beanie. I love a fun colored beanie and the smiley makes this extra cute! Although the yellow is sold out, it also comes in orange, green, and pink😃

5. My rainbow pom pom sweater. I love a colorful sweater during the cold grey months and this one is adorable🌈

6. A cozy green scarf. My husband got me this for Christmas last year and it’s a super cute pop of color! Plus I love the boucle texture (I also own the cream/white color)💚

7. My brown sherpa vest that I have been loving throwing on as a cozy layer. It works so well over long sleeves, sweaters, and crewnecks. It adds extra warmth and cuteness🧸

8. These half zip sweaters in the prettiest colors. They’re so easy to wear and feel put-together with little effort. I fought my urge to buy them in neutral tones and I’m so happy with these 3 colors🧡🟢♥️

9. Warm and fun printed socks. I own so many of these because my mom likes to buy them for my sisters and I for Christmas and split them up between us, plus I’ve bought a couple packs on my own (they come in packs of 5-6). They look so cute in the winter and add a little bit of fun to your outfit🧦

My go-to fair isle sweater that I’ve had this for 3 winters now. The print of it makes it work from November all through winter! It has an oversized fit, making it extra comfy🫶🏽❄️

This reversible 2 in 1 tank top is sooo soft. The 5% of spandex gives it some stretch, but the rest of it is made with cotton. I’m wearing black.

This luxe organic cotton tank is 100% cotton and soft and comfortable. I love the dark chocolate brown color.

This relaxed crew neck t-shirt is 100% organic cotton. This is the undyed version but there’s many more colors to choose from!

Nothing better than a crisp white tee! I’m loving this relaxed crew neck t-shirt that has just a hint of stretch to it.

I love burgundy for this time of year. This color is called bonfire red and the relaxed long sleeve crewneck t- shirt has such a flattering fit!

Another great basic: a white long sleeve! This is the organic long sleeve crewneck and it has a touch of spandex and stretch to it, making it super comfy.

Another undyed piece is this relaxed long sleeve crewneck t- shirt (same as the bonfire red one above). Soft and relaxed!

I love this brown color (they call it iron) of the relaxed long sleeve crewneck t-shirt. It’s such a beautiful muted tone and the 100% cotton makes it super soft and wearable.

As you can tell, I loved this one! This is the fourth color I got in the relaxed long sleeve crewneck t-shirt. This is the balsam hue and it’s absolutely beautiful.

This is the cognac color in the jewel neck long sleeved tee. It’s 100% cotton and such a great fit.

Same tee as above (jewel neck long sleeved tee) but in the dark chocolate color. So rich and pretty!

Which one is your favorite?
