Oversized Flannels and 4 Easy Ways to Style Them

Maybe it’s the millennial in me, but you can’t get me to stop wearing flannels. I’ve always loved one and I always will😉

These 4 flannels are perfect! I love an oversized flannel fit (I usually steal my husbands🙈) so when these came and had this perfect oversized fit, I was in loveeee. They’re a more lightweight flannel, so they’re great for layering without getting too hot.

If you prefer video content, the reel is HERE.

Here are 4 ways I’m wearing these flannels this fall (and beyond!):

Flannel outfit 1:

jeans + tee + flannel + sneakers

since deciding to become a “sneaker girl”, I’ve found that there are lots of ways to wear them that aren’t necessarily sporty! This is one of them! I think they look so cute with a pair of comfy denim (I’ve had and loved this pair for over a year) and a tee and flannel! I’d add a crossbody bag to this look and head out the door!

Flannel outfit 2:

black base + flannel + chelsea boots

I loved this one because I always love starting with a black base and building from there! You can really do so much with a classic black base. This flannel has black in it, so it pairs perfectly with the black base.

Flannel outfit 3:

jeans + tee + flannel + clogs

This one’s just so easy and classic—jeans, clogs and a flannel are a go-to for me! Last week I wore this same outfit but added a graphic tee instead of a basic tee and that was so cute too! Playing around with your outfits always pays off in the long run. It gives you confidence to style things differently!

Flannel outfit 4:

leggings + flannel + slipper clogs

This is the perfect cozy outfit for at home (or maybe a casual Thanksgiving?!). If it’s colder you can definitely add socks or trade the slipper clogs out for boots or regular clogs. I loved all the colors in this flannel—it’ll go with so much!

Affordable Denim Review: Quince Jeans Try-On, Sizing, and Favorite Styles

I know a lot of us have been curious about Quince jeans—I’ve definitely been wondering if they live up to the hype like the rest of their pieces. At $50, the price point is hard to beat. Honestly, a big chunk of my closet is Quince at this point. They make such great, affordable pieces in natural and organic materials, and I’ve loved every single thing I’ve ordered.

I picked up four pairs of their jeans to test out, and here are my thoughts! I am 5’1” for reference.

Luna Stretch Slim Straight Jeans— wearing size 25 in the 26” inseam here but reordering in 24 instead because they stretch with wear (I think my Quince denim size is my smaller size).

These are a cross between a skinny and a straight and such a good and comfy option! Love the wash (seaside blue) and how comfy they are. They’re also a great length with my blundstone boots!

Bella Stretch Patch Pocket Wide Leg Jeans—wearing size 24 inseam the 26”

These are SO cute! I love the patch pockets, I love the wash (wearing the faded black—but they come in other washes too), and I love how stretchy and comfy they feel!

Bella Stretch Straight Jeans—wearing size 24 in the 26” inseam

I wasn’t sure about these when I first tried them on because they flare a bit at the bottom instead of being totally straight. I was thinking about sending them back, but after trying them on with some different shoes I decided to keep them. They’re also so stretchy and comfy!

Bella Stretch Relaxed Straight Jeans—wearing size 24 in the 28” inseam (I previously thought these were the 26” inseam but after trying on all the other jeans, I realized that they accidentally sent me the 28”. I like the longer length but I may also try the 26” and see if they’re more of a straight fit instead of a flare)

These are more of a baggy flare jean, at least in the 28” inseam on me. They’re super comfy and cute though!

In conclusion: if you’re looking for comfy, stretchy, affordable jeans that actually come in different lengths (yay for petites and tall girls!), Quince is such a good option. I’m keeping them all (but exchanging the first pair for my smaller size)🙌🏽

A FEW QUESTIONS ON QUINCE DENIM:

•should I size down? I went with my smaller size and prefer that fit!

•do they stretch so much that you have to wash after every wear? I rarely wash my jeans (unless they’re dirty or really need it) and just this week I’ve worn the straight leg pair 4 separate times and think they’re a comfy stretchy fit, but not a “stretch out” denim, so I would say no!

•which wash is this? seaside blue! The jeans sell out often, but they also restock often, so sign up to be waitlisted and they’ll message you when they’re back in stock.

Which is your favorite pair of the 4? I originally said the patch pocket wide leg, but after wearing the straight leg ones for over a week, it’s a toss up between those and the straight leg pair!

10 Things I’m Loving Lately (October)

As we get into fall and cooler weather, I wanted to share a few things I use and wear often! These are things I have found myself reaching for over and over again. Some of them are newer items, but most of them are items I’ve owned for years.

I’ve linked everything (or similar options) on my LTK! The links are affiliate, so I may make a small commission if you choose to shop—thank you for supporting my content!

1. This 6 pack of ruffle socks from Target. They’re so cute with boots, clogs, sneakers or any shoe to add a little extra fun detail! I’ve had mine for 3 years and love the earthy colors🧦

2. I’ve been using this miracle balm on my cheeks for over a year now. I love the subtle glow and shimmer it gives me—I mostly use on my cheeks but it can be used on your lips, eyes, etc too! My favorite shade is dusty rose✨

3. This lace trim sweatshirt is just a little more fun than a regular sweatshirt. It comes in lots of colors but I love heather grey🩶

4. I’ve been trying to be a “sneaker girl” and these neutral sneakers are making it easy! Loving pairing them with all of my outfits👟

5. My baggu belt bag is the MVP of my life. It’s my most worn bag and I get questions about it all the time. My color is light khaki (it’s been sold out for a long time, but maybe available somewhere secondhand?) it’s easy to throw on and holds everything I need💼

6. I’ve been wearing these cotton/twill barrel pants a bunch! Love the brown, but they also come in other colors and in petite and long🙌🏽

7. If you’ve been around for a while, you know my blundstone boots are a STAPLE. I wear them a ton in the colder months because I think they’re cute and super functional for cold, slush, rain, and snow!🥾

8. I bought this natural stone necklace in June and it’s something I wear almost daily now. It’s light, easy, affordable and makes every outfit prettier💎

9. My sheertex tights are another winter staple—they’re resilient and durable and mine haven’t ripped or torn🖤

10. My Walmart crewneck is so cozy and comfy. I have it in 3 colors from last year and this year’s chocolate brown color is such a good one🤎
