First Couple of Weeks of January Outfit Round-Up

The first couple weeks of January have been cold and snowy. We’ve got another snowstorm forecasted for this weekend and we’re mostly planning on hunkering down and staying home. Here are some of the outfits I’ve worn. I like to describe my style as cozy/casual/comfy and I think these outfits reflect that. My goal has been to add a little more fun to my outfits this year and I plan to do that with color, texture, and shape. I generally add texture and shape to most outfits, so I’m mainly focusing on adding some fun colors here and there. You’ll see that below!

All outfits are linked below each picture. I use affiliate links and this just means that if you buy something using these links, I earn a small commission, at no additional cost to you. It helps support this blog and my family. Thank you!

Snow globe kind of day outfit (1-7-24)

Saturday night into Sunday we got our first snowstorm of the year (and really the season!). We got about 7” of snow & we’ve have been out enjoying it. I live in an area where it’s cold most of the time & I subscribe to the belief that if it’s cold, we might as well have snow to do fun winter activities such as sledding, skiing, skating, etc. Yesterday and today my husband was able to pull our sons in the sled behind the fourwheeler and it brought so much joy!

I wanted to match the snowy scene so I wore this snowflake sweater from New York & Company. The black and white make it neutral while the print makes it seasonal and fun. I paired it with my Madewell jeans, target beanie, and blundstone boots (mine are the 1306 in rustic brown) and my ll bean coat.

I will link everything at the bottom of the post and I do use affiliate links— this just means that I earn a small commission if you purchase using these links and it means so much to me when you support my blog and social medias so I can continue to do what I do. Thank you!

Berry colored cardigan & puffer coat outfit (outfit of the day 1-5-24)

This cardigan is part of a matching set from Amazon. Today I chose just to wear it alone, instead of with the matching jogger pants. It’s such a cute look & the waffle knit adds texture & interest, along with the wooden buttons.

I am wearing the maroon color in size small, but I also love the look of the grey/blue color!

This quilted puffer coat is a new purchase. I really don’t NEED another coat, but I love this berry color & the sherpa & the fit of it. I think it will look really cute with this colorful scarf of mine.

I am wearing size xs & it fits well enough while not feeling too bulky with a sweater underneath it. The hood and sherpa zip off completely if you prefer that look.
