I had a follower reach out looking for some nursing friendly dresses for the upcoming seasons & I found some great options! All dresses are linked at the bottom of this post.

I got this Old Navy cardigan a few weeks ago & it is going to be so versatile for fall & winter! It also comes in a brown color but I prefer this cream (sort of speckled) color. I styled it three ways, wearing all the same accessories (shoes, hat & jewelry) & only changing out my bottom option. In these photos I am just wearing a bra underneath, but as it cools down I will add a cami for warmth.
The bracelets I’m wearing are some of my favorites & they were gifted from Air & Anchor. Love their adjustable bracelets!

All clothing items & similar options will be linked at the bottom of the post.
look 1: with distressed jeans This is the most casual option of the 3. I received these jeans from my Flipfit box last month & loved them & decided to keep them. I will link a couple similar & more affordable options from Target, but if you sign up for Flipfit, you can find these exact jeans. The brand is Black Denim.
look 2: with a flowy midi skirt This look is dressed up but still so comfy! I love this amazon skirt & have worn it now in multiple seasons & tons of different ways. This look would also work with a maxi or a mini skirt.
look 3: with black skinny jeans This look feels more dressed up than the first look with jeans, mostly because the jeans aren’t distressed & are also darker. I prefer my black skinny jeans to be a faded black instead of a true black. I got these ones from Target last year & I don’t think they’re available anymore but I will find some similar options!
A utility jacket is a classic wardrobe staple. It can be worn in (almost) all seasons, depending where you live. I own a green one, which seems to be pretty classic, but they come in all sorts of great colors (I’m loving the burnt orange one from target!). I wear mine in spring, summer & fall & it is so versatile. I bought my jacket years ago, when I was still in college, from Old Navy. It has held up well for me and I will be linking similar options. Old Navy has a bunch of different green jackets in different styles including cropped, long, hooded, soft twill, & more utility-like materials. They also come in all sorts of colors & make me want to buy a new one in pink or gray! Ha!

I am styling my jacket three different ways. I hope that this will give you some inspiration for styling any style or color utility jacket you own! (I apologize in advance for my dusty mirror, I didn’t realize until after how absolutely dusty it was!)
With stripes I feel like this is the most classic of all. Who doesn’t love a good army green color with stripes?! I paired it with my power straight jeans and my brown mules.
2. With a dress or a skirt I loveeee a jacket with a skirt or dress. It gives it more casual vibes and keeps you warm. This skirt is new from Old Navy and I am in love with the print! I thought the green and the rust color of this skirt paired nicely together.
3. With leggings & a graphic tee The most casual outfit of them all, but so very cute! You could also switch out regular leggings for a faux pair with booties just to step it up a bit. This casual graphic tee is the perfect color for fall & says “Talk Pumpkin Spice to me”. My sneakers are sold out, unfortunately, but I will link some similar options.

We are all brave in our own unique way & I wanted to share some examples of how I see the women in my life as brave:
•My mom is brave because she has a disease that causes her to be in pain constantly & yet she still goes to work & gives it her all everyday 🤍 •My oldest sister is brave by choosing to homeschool her son this year & also the daily struggle it is for her to live far from family 💗 •My other sister is brave by being 33 weeks pregnant, working full time as a physical therapist, & spending every other waking moment working on the building of her new home ❤️ •I #definebrave for myself by setting boundaries even when it’s hard & uncomfortable & by continuing to grow & try to be a better person 🧡
I am so happy to be partnering with katiekactive in their #definebrave campaign! The purpose of this campaign is to celebrate women who inspire, motivate, & support others to be brave! 🖤 katiekactive is an inclusive activewear brand that carries sizes small to 3x. All the clothing pieces I’m wearing in these pictures were #gifted to me from their line & they’re so comfortable & cute (more on my stories!)
