I’m just realizing that every single one of these outfits has green in it! Haha! Way to stick to a theme and color scheme, I guess. I love green and I find that I usually incorporate it in some way into my outfits, even without realizing it!

I really love a good vest and I own three puffer vests and wear them often. But generally, a puffer vest is an item you take off when you’re inside (not always! But sometimes), and I wanted a vest that I could also wear inside to complete my outfits.
I decided to buy a Columbia fleece vest, and of course, when I got it I tried it on with all sorts of items in my wardrobe, because I wanted to make sure it wasn’t something I could only wear one way. I came up with five different outfits, and I’ve worn it three other ways since, so here are eight fleece vest outfits!

Outfit 5: with a turtleneck sweater, wide leg cuffed jeans, and cute chelsea boots. Add a crossbody bag and you’ve got a cozy and put together winter look.
I think black leggings are a go-to for most of us in the winter. I know that where I live, it’s cold & snowy and they go really well with boots.
Last year I added a pair of flare leggings (aka yoga pants for all of us millennials) to my wardrobe and I’ve found them to be a really versatile piece and just as comfy as leggings, but a little bit of a different look and different vibe.
Here are four ways to wear them in the colder months.

Green will forever be a favorite color of mine to wear! Tip: add a scarf on your neck for a little bit of interest and fun!
A cozy cardigan is a winter go-to for me! Tip: invest in a few pairs of “soft pants” that feel dressy enough to wear out and about! Your cozy winter self will thank you!
A sweater that feels like a blanket is a perfect winter piece. Tip: trade out the shoes you would normally wear (I’d normally wear clogs with this!) for a more unexpected shoe.
Flare leggings/yoga pants can be a “wear outside or the house outfit” with a few good accessories. Tip: a denim shirt is a good investment to make—you’ll wear it in every season!
These black wide leg jeans are one of my favorites to wear right now! Tip: if you find a color combo you love (lime/chartreuse & black here!), try it with other pieces from your wardrobe!
