Outfits I Wore on my Spring Break Beach Vacation

My two sisters, my childhood best friend and I all went on a girls’ trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic last week. The trip has been a long time coming—we actually planned and booked the trip LAST March for January 2026 and ended up having to change the location and date, and then a week before we were set to go, we had to change the location and date AGAIN. Needless to say, when the girls trip finally got out of the group chat, we were PSYCHED. We had a great time just relaxing, catching up, enjoying the sun, eating and drinking and spending time together.

I wanted to share my outfits in case you have a spring break trip coming up too!

As usual, everything is linked using affiliate links. This means if you purchase something using my links, I earn a small commission. It is no additional cost to you and it helps me to keep creating the content I do. Thank you such for your support—it means the world to me!

6 Easy Winter Outfits for Busy Moms

Being a mom is already a full-time job, and then on top of it we’re supposed to get dressed, chase kids around, and somehow stay comfy?!!😅

it can be tough, but here are six outfit combos you can use to do all of that🙌🏽

Outfit 1: a sweater + scarf + jeans

I’m loving that scarves are coming back because I never stopped wearing them😂 I think they’re such a cute way to add some fun to a typical sweater and jeans look!

Outfit 2: comfy pants + crewneck + pop of color

What’s comfier than a pair of sweats? These ones are a heavier weight so I feel like they’re more wearable outside of the house. I love pairing them with a comfy crewneck sweatshirt and sneakers. Add a pop of color (bag, hat, scarf) and you’re cute and ready to go!

Outfit 3: black jeans + cardigan + comfy shoes

When I get sick of wearing blue jeans over and over, black jeans are the way to go. These ones are stretchy and comfy but still hold their shape—a true unicorn! You can pair them with any type of top, but a cardigan makes them cuter and more put together and then add whatever comfy shoes work for your weather.

Outfit 4: comfy pants + cute top + sneakers

I’m not sure if we all have comfy pants in our wardrobe that aren’t jeans or sweatpants, but they’re a must, especially if you work somewhere where you need to dress professional. These are a pair I’ve had for years and I love pairing them with a basic top or a cute top! The sneakers also look so fun with them. I also just got a couple pairs of cute pants from Gap that I’ll link as alternatives to this pair!

Outfit 5: sweatpants + denim top + slipper clogs

I rarely say anyone NEEDS anything—but when I do, I’m talking about a good denim button up. It’s a workhorse for ALL seasons in my wardrobe. It’s great with almost every type of top and bottom. Here I paired it with these comfy grey wide leg sweatpants (that I generally prefer to wear at home) and my comfy slipper clogs.

Outfit 6: corduroy pants + cozy top layer + boots

I love corduroy pants for cold weather. They add great texture and feel so cozy. For my top layer here I added a sherpa vest, but you could do a jacket (denim, barn, quilted), another type of of vest (fleece or puffer), or a a sweater (crenweck, b neck, or cardigan). I paired my blundstone boots with the whole look, but any shoe you love will work!

5 Easy Outfit Formulas to Wear When You Don’t Know What to Wear

I’ve been wanting to put this post together for a while as I think it’s really helpful for getting dressed! We all have days where we don’t know what to wear (even me🙋🏽‍♀️) and having outfit formulas that work are a great jumping off point!I have a few that I wear over and over and that make getting dressed easier for me, and I’m going to share them today.

I’d love if you let me know in the comments what a go-to outfit formula is for you— I’m always looking for easier ways to get dressed and feel good in what I’m wearing.

Some of these outfits are older, but I put them all together HERE if you’d like the links (I do use affiliate links which means I make a small commission if you make a purchase using these links. It helps me keep creating content and I appreciate your support!).

Here are 5 of my favorite outfit formulas⬇️

1. Jeans + Top: good denim, a sweatshirt or knit, and shoes that work.

2. Monochromatic (or Tonal) Layers: the same color family for a pulled-together feel!

3. Relaxed Bottoms + Fitted Top (or little top, big pants) an easy formula if you want a really balanced outfit.

4. Relaxed Top + Fitted Bottoms (or big top, little pants): I prefer this in colder weather (usually leggings + sweater), but it’s cute with biker shorts too!

5. Neutral Base + Pop Of Color Accessories: a bag, a hat, jewelry, a scarf or shoes! All fun ways to add pops of color and make your outfit more fun!

Which one are you going to try first?
