petite summer outfit ideas – MARISSAWEARSANOUTFIT

It is SO hard for me to pack for vacation—I want to have lots of options but never have enough room to truly bring everything I want to, plus there’s so many fun things to do, AND I want to look cute and feel comfy while doing them.

So, here are the outfits I wore while on vacation in Cape Cod. I felt really good in them all and comfy too! A win-win.

The days were warm and the nights were cool (along with the wind along the ocean!) so I have a good variety of outfits here—from swimsuits, to dinner outfits, to shopping and everything in between.

This was the outfit I wore to travel—black linen shorts, a grey tee, and my green gauzy button up. We live about 7ish hours away and it was comfy and felt great!

I wore my checked cotton boxers, a white tank, and my green gauze cotton button up for a day of shopping. I added my bag from Oikos Handmade. The gauzy button up was a great layer for AC.

My parents were with us on vacation and watched our boys one night so my husband and I could go out on a date night. I wore my favorite white boho maxi dress (I also own in red) and layered my cozy brown cashmere cardigan over it. The green baggu tote bag and my homemade beaded necklace were such fun pops of color!

16 Real-Life Outfits for Warm Days

June and July have been hot and we’ve been enjoying the warm weather with pool days, a beach trip, and fun with the hose. We are also so thankful for a house that has central AC, especially on those really warm days!

I can hardly believe we’re at least halfway through summer. I know some people disagree, but I love summer dressing. The shorts, tanks, dresses, linen, and cotton are some of favorite pieces/fabrics to wear!

I love winter, but it DRAGS and I tend to get sick of my clothes before it’s over. It never feels like you run out of things to wear in the summer—at least for me.
