Three Ways to Wear Loafers

I’ll be the first to admit that I thought loafers were ugly and not my style. I thought they were too preppy and that there was no way they could fit into my wardrobe.

Well, it just goes to show that tastes change, because I am in love with this beautiful suede pair from Beckett Simonon (gifted). You can read more details on their website, but their shoes are ethically crafted and made to order. They’re incredible quality and just stunning.

I challenged myself to find three ways to style these loafers and I did—all three ways feel comfortable and like “me”, so I think I did pretty good.

I appreciate your support more than you know! 🙂

I love this look— the wide leg jeans with the cuff make it so different than a normal wide leg jeans look. The browns are all super cohesive and bring it together.

These barrel leg pants are super comfy and I love pairing green and brown together! The cream cashmere sweater has pulls it all together and makes it a great neutral look.

This outfit is giving Parisian vibes and I’m here for it. The silk scarf is a fun find from our vacation to Cape May, NJ last year (I found a super similar one to link). I also love how black and brown pair together, so the pants were a good choice.

All outfits are linked HERE (including a bigger pair of loafers). Loafers linked HERE.

My Favorite Coats this Winter (and how they work in my wardrobe)

I picked up a few new coats this winter because the ones I have are older (& I still love them!) but I was looking for a few different ones to fill some holes in my wardrobe.

I found three different coats that all work for different purposes for me and I’m sharing them today! I outline below my favorite ways to wear each coat.

As always, I link via Liketoknow.it using affiliate links & I appreciate you using them to shop. When you use my links I make a very small commission & use it to keep creating content. Thank you!

This first coat is a creamy white color & purchased it from Gap. It comes in a few other great colors & petite & tall sizes as well. I bought it on sale for around $60 & it’s a great coat. It has a flap that covers your bum so it’s great with leggings without being a super long coat. I love wearing it for running errands because it’s not too hot in stores!
This coat is made out of recycled materials & is the most lightweight coat of the three. I would suggest layering underneath with a sweater or sweatshirt for extra warmth.

I was SO excited about this coat because I’ve been wanting one this color for awhile now (I think this color is sold out, but there are multiple other color options & the olive green and dark malbec wine color look great too!). I was able to purchase this one on sale too, for around $49– It’s a great quality coat from Columbia. I have other older coats from Columbia as well and they’re all really nice coats & have held up for years. It’s a great neutral color (for me anyway, ha!) that isn’t white or black & it definitely keeps me warm and cozy. The sleeves have an elastic on the wrist so it’s great for keeping snow out. The only thing I would change is I wish the hood was removable– but I still absolutely love it. The double zipper is also nice for mobility! I like to unzip the bottom part when driving or moving around a lot (skiing, sledding, building snowmen 😉
I wear this one for errands as well, but also out in the snow for sledding/skiing/etc!

This coat is from Chicwish & on the pricier side, but it’s a good one. It’s obviously the dressiest option & SO pretty! The fur hood is super fun & the fur part is actually removable so I could wear it as a scarf if wanted. The color is a nice creamy white & I look forward to wearing this one for dressier occasions this winter (church, winter wedding, date night, etc!). It looks so nice zipped up and the button collar & front pockets add to the charm.

Which coat is your favorite? I really can’t choose because they are all so good!

Fall Print Dresses

I’ve done a little round-up of dresses that are perfect for fall. (See the reel HERE!) These are dresses I already own & love, but their print is so great for fall style. Any of these 6 dresses would work perfectly for a fall photo shoot, an autumn wedding, or a date night. If it’s early fall the dresses alone with some heels or sandals will be perfect, as we get later into fall I’d add boots, a wide brim hat and maybe a denim jacket for cute layers and extra warmth!

As always, I will link all items at then end of the post. I will use my affiliate link which means I make a small amount of commission if you choose to purchase using my link & there is no additional cost to you. I appreciate all your support in helping me get to continue sharing fashion finds! Thank you 🙂

I purchased this one from Amazon earlier this summer when I was still pregnant and it worked great with the bump and now without. It’s going to be so cute with a wide brim hat and boots! The prints are ENDLESS with this one, so many other cute ones for all seasons!

This red is GORGEOUS & the embroidery on this dress is stunning. It would be so pretty for fall photos!

This green/blue/yellow floral print is such a good amazon find! I love an easy long sleeved dress for fall/winter and this one is so good! It comes in multiple other floral prints as well.

This dress SCREAMS fall wedding to me! The tiers are have velvet lines and the neck tie detail is the cutest!

This faux wrap dress is beautiful! It has a button to keep it closed (also makes it nursing friendly!) and the tie can come right off as well. I love this print that would also be just as beautiful in early spring!

This little dress is a boho dream and so perfect for fall style. Can’t you just see it with over the knee boots?! Love!

Fall Amazon Fashion Finds: Part 1

I know it’s only a little bit over the middle of August, but I’m seeing fall fashion everywhere and I must admit I am getting excited for layers and comfy sweaters. I picked up a few items from Amazon for the upcoming season and I’m going to do a little mini series of some fall finds here on the blog. This post includes a dress and two cardigans. All so good!

As always, I will link the items I’m wearing (or similar options) at the bottom of each photo. These are affiliate links which means that I receive a small commission if you purchase from them, at no additional cost to you. Thanks for your support– it really means the world to me! 🙂

First up is this brick red waffle stitch cardigan. It comes in 9 colors but I’m a sucker for this color! It’s so pretty. The snap button makes it a little different from a regular cardigan. LOVE the style of it. The best part is it’s under $30!

This might be my favorite dress from Amazon yet– the length of it is perfect on me & I LOVE the print. It comes in a few other floral prints & colors and is also under $30!

This open knit cream colored cardigan is a great transition piece from summer to fall. It’s a little pricier than the other two but it feels really nice! It comes in 10 colors and I wish I could buy them all!

Which one are you hoping to snag for fall?!
