We had the BEST time celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in Montreal, Quebec! It was our first time visiting the city of Montreal and we’ll definitely be back (especially since it’s only 2 hours away from where we live!). We squeezed quite a bit into 48 hours (we went Saturday afternoon-Monday afternoon) and I planned my outfits ahead of time, which really helped me stress less and feel good about what I was wearing. All the shoes I wore were SUPER comfy for lots of walking and worked great with my outfits.
Below I’m sharing photos of all the outfits I wore and where I wore them!

Outfit 1: this floral midi dress was perfect for the yummiest steak dinner at Maggie Oakes in Old Montreal
Outfit 3: 1 wore this little white cotton top, denim mini skirt, and my orange crossbody bag to eat the yummiest bagels and explore the World Trade Centre Montréal
I love dressing for summer! The fabrics and colors make it so fun. I wanted to share some of my recent outfits in a little summer outfit round-up.
As always, lightweight cotton, airy linen, and lots of neutral tones with pops of color were my go-tos. My denim shorts were on heavy rotation, paired with tanks, tees, and easy button-ups. I also mixed in flowy dresses and skirts, wide-leg pants, and a few swimsuits for beach and pool days!

6. Red Blouse + Denim Shorts + Cowboy Boots + Crossbody Bag

10. White Linen Button-Up + Bikini Top + Cotton Shorts + Sandals
Beach-ready outfit with a white button-up cover-up, printed bikini top, and lightweight cotton shorts. I wore this to go boating and out to an island on the St. Lawrence River with my family.

12. Red Tiered Maxi Dress + Heeled Sandals + Straw Bag
A bright and flowy summer maxi dress in a bold red-orange hue. I paired it with heeled sandals and a straw tote for church, but it would also be perfect for vacation or date night.
A casual and playful summer outfit with dark grey cotton shortalls layered over a crisp white muscle tank. It’s a super easy outfit, but it looks like you tried.
17. White Tank + Olive Linen Shorts + Black Cotton Button-Up + Sandals

1. Elastic Waist Shorts
Elastic waist shorts are the comfiest and cutest! They’re easy to throw on, flattering on all body types, and perfect for every situation!
They’re trending for a reason—the relaxed cotton makes them super comfy and they look cute with so many different things! In this outfit I paired them with an oversized graphic tee, but they’re equally cute with a tank, a blouse, or a button up.
I love putting together outfits (obviously, haha!) and also sharing where might be a good place to wear them. Here are three outfits for summer and some locations to take wear them to.

Play date: I like it keep it comfy and casual for a play date. These sweat shorts are perfect for that. I have a tank paired with them and then a linen button down layered over it. Functional sandals, lije these Tevas, are a must!
Date night: this dress is STUNNING. I love the orangey-red color and it’s made even better by being 100% organic cotton. I paired it with strappy heels and some layered necklaces.
The pool/beach: these cotton pants are a perfect swim coverup! Grab your beach bag, favorite swimsuit and sandals and you’re ready for a day at the pool or at the beach.
