One Swimsuit and Two Ways to Coverup

Tie strap details are such a great way to dress up an otherwise simple piece and they are EVERYWHERE this season– on jumpsuits, tank tops, dresses, and swimsuits! This tie strap one piece swimsuit is from Pinkblush and is such a cute one! It comes in several colors & has side AND tummy ruching, which is perfect for anyone who has carried a baby in their belly πŸ˜‰

In this blog post, I am sharing the swimsuit & two cover-up options– one casual and one more dressed up. This weekend only if you use the code MEMORIALDAY at checkout you can get 30% off (making this swimsuit $39)! Otherwise, use MARISSAELISE25 for 25% off.

As I said before, the side and tummy ruching make this swimsuit more flattering & I love the tie straps! Definitely want to double knot them, although the top stays up even without them! The swimsuit fits true to size.

These wide legged lounge pants are ribbed and super comfy. They’re a perfect weight to hang just right & I love the neutral color. The waistband is stretchy but the tie is just there for decoration, it isn’t functional. They fit true to size.

This floral dress is a cutie! It also comes in the same print in pink and taupe. I love the empire waist and that you can wear it with a regular bra! It’s super cute dressed up with heels as well. I would say it fits true to size, but if you’re smaller on top you could size down.

What do you think of the tie strap trend? In to it or nah? Which coverup is more your style– casual or dressed up? Let me know!

What I Wore This Week (Heat Wave Edition)

We had a small heatwave this past week, (it got up to 90 degrees!) so I’m wearing shorts & tanks; mostly in cotton & linen materials! I was really comfortable & happy in all of these outfits, even while chasing around my 4 year old and newly crawling 11 month old.

I really haven’t done an outfit round-up in awhile– I just haven’t had the time to get around to it. I definitely miss doing them though, so I am going to try to be better about getting these posts written during the summer. This past week I got dressed just about every day, so here is a little outfit round-up of what I wore!

I will link everything I’m wearing using affiliate links. This means if you choose to purchase something by clicking on one of my links, I earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. 3 Neutral Cotton/Linen Items from Pinkblush

I have been SO drawn to linen & 100% cotton this year– I’ve learned that they’re more natural materials and last longer and I just love the look of them! They’re breezy, light, and comfortable. The three items I am sharing in this post are all made from either linen, cotton or both!

These wide leg pants are 100% cotton and can be dressed up or down (I would say they’re kind of a sweat pant material, not a linen material like I had thought!). You can see that there is a wide, stretchy, elastic waistband for ultimate comfort & the wide leg makes them perfectly on trend. They come in several colors and fit true to size.

This boho top is adorable. I love the classic half linen/half cotton material and the cut of the blouse. The rolled sleeves with raw hem details add to the cuteness!I’d say it fits true to size for an oversized fit.

This crepe button up is also 100% cotton and so breezy. The raw hem edges make it very casual and the back is long enough to wear with bike shorts (or leggings!) and cover your booty. I love this neutral taupe color, but it comes in several more colors as well. It fits true to size for an oversized fit.

Do you wear linen or cotton? Which is your favorite look?

These raw hem linen pants are sooooo good! They come in a couple other colors (I’m also loving the green!) and have pockets. I paired them with this cute white top from amazon. Highly recommend it– comes in lots of other colors & is just so pretty. I also added my rattan crossbody bag & some heels to dress it up.

I’ve been looking for a cute pair of overalls & these are perfect! The filter makes them look green but they are, in fact, a dark grey. They also come in multiple other colors. I paired them with comfy slide sandals, a plain white tee, & the belt bag my husband bought me on our babymoon in Cape May, NJ. I’m looking forward to wearing these comfy overalls so many other ways!

This dress is just a dream! The weight of it is perfect so it hangs & flows so nicely. I love the smocked top & the ruffle hem. Gold is one of my favorite colors & this particular hue is perfect for summer & fall alike–just add a jean jacket! It also comes in black.

Have you shopped at Pinkblush yet? Which item is your favorite?
