I’ve been wanting to put this post together for a while as I think it’s really helpful for getting dressed! We all have days where we don’t know what to wear (even me🙋🏽♀️) and having outfit formulas that work are a great jumping off point!I have a few that I wear over and over and that make getting dressed easier for me, and I’m going to share them today.
I’d love if you let me know in the comments what a go-to outfit formula is for you— I’m always looking for easier ways to get dressed and feel good in what I’m wearing.
Some of these outfits are older, but I put them all together HERE if you’d like the links (I do use affiliate links which means I make a small commission if you make a purchase using these links. It helps me keep creating content and I appreciate your support!).
Here are 5 of my favorite outfit formulas⬇️
1. Jeans + Top: good denim, a sweatshirt or knit, and shoes that work.
2. Monochromatic (or Tonal) Layers: the same color family for a pulled-together feel!
3. Relaxed Bottoms + Fitted Top (or little top, big pants) an easy formula if you want a really balanced outfit.
4. Relaxed Top + Fitted Bottoms (or big top, little pants): I prefer this in colder weather (usually leggings + sweater), but it’s cute with biker shorts too!
5. Neutral Base + Pop Of Color Accessories: a bag, a hat, jewelry, a scarf or shoes! All fun ways to add pops of color and make your outfit more fun!
Which one are you going to try first?
